    Getting to know the Teacher Trainer

    Biodata

    Nerio Burga Sagástegui is a passionate English teacher & teacher trainer. He has been working as a teacher trainer at the Pedagogical Higher Education School "Nuestra Señora de Chota" since 2012. He is currently the coordinator of the English-language program there. In addition to this role, he taught at the Universidad Nacional de Cajamarca (UNC) Language Center. He also lectured at the Universidad Autónoma de Chota (UNACH). Lately, he provides different courses and workshops for English teachers and trainees related to English Language Teaching (ELT) and trains English teachers for the TKT (Teaching Knoledge Test) Core (Modules 1, 2, and 3) Exam and for the Tenure & Promotion exams (Exámenes de Nombramiento y Ascenso Docente) in-person and online. He holds a degree in education in the English language from Nuestra Señora de Chota and a teaching license in education majoring in English from the Universidad Nacional de Cajamarca (UNC). A master degree in didactics of the English language from Universidad Nacional Pedro Ruiz Gallo de Lambayeque. He was a recipient of the Pronabec scholarship “Beca Idiomas: Inglés para egresados de alto rendimiento académico.” He is a passionate, self-taught teacher and tech lover who really likes learning new things through technology and then sharing this newfound knowledge with his colleagues and trainees.

TKT PREPARATION COURSE 2023


TKT Training course is a course that has as a main goal to train teachers to achieve the International Certification in Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT).  This course is ideal for teachers who want to see their teaching knowledge with a well-known certificate at an international level. 

TKT is a flexible series of modular teaching qualifications, which test  knowledge of specific areas of teaching English. Candidates can do as many modules as they want and in any period of time. They will receive a Cambridge English certificate for each module you complete.
